The aim of this session (a 2 hour online webinar), is to assist Managing Agents and those with the duty to arrange for Person Centred Fire Risk Assessments (PCFAs) and subsequent Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (R-PEEP) / Emergency Evacuation Statements (EES) documentation the confidence to interpret the regulations and follow a structured process in order to produce accurate, compliant, and person focused plans that support resident safety.
Objectives
By the end of this session, delegates should be able to:
- Understand why Residential PEEPs were introduced and the regulatory drivers post‑Grenfell.
- Explain what the law requires, which buildings are in scope and the duties of the responsible person
- Distinguish the difference between PEEPs, PCFRAs and traditional Fire Risk Assessments
- Identify who is responsible for delivery within property management organisations
- Describe a practical, proportionate process for implementation
Recognise common pitfalls and how to avoid them.
