A Chartered Surveyor specialising in residential valuations and residential property management, Michael is a Partner at the firm of Maunder Taylor. He regularly advises clients on valuation, property management and service charge disputes, and has been appointed Manager by Order of the First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) in a number of cases, pursuant to section 24 Landlord & Tenant Act 1987. Michael takes a keen interest in keeping up to date with case law concerning Management Orders, and delivers training on the subject and contribute to written articles for TPI Members

Bruce Maunder-Taylor

Partner - Maunder Taylor
Bruce entered into Partnership at Maunder Taylor in 1970 and has a wealth of property experience. He is a Fellow of the RICS, a Member of the Academy of Experts, and an RICS Registered Valuer. He is an expert in the valuation of both residential and commercial property for marketing purposes, to assist in dispute resolution, taxation matters, statutory valuations for Leasehold Reform Act purposes, and diminution in value claims arising from dilapidations. He receives occasional appointments from the Upper Tribunal (Property Chamber) for valuations pursuant to section 33 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. Part of his professional practice involves assisting parties with service charge and management disputes. He specialises in valuations for the development of roof and air spaces over existing blocks of flats.
